Tuffet is a flower shaped antique pouf enshrouded with an assortment of the artist Sophie Stone’s personal relics, accumulated over the course of many years. Intuitively dispersed, the ephemera is thoughtfully handsewn and appears to consume the sculpture. The collection of trinkets range from antique heart charms and tinsel to recycled bottle caps – an assemblage that acts as an archival testament to the passing of time and the thoughtful means of keeping and preserving.
