Loving Cup

Loving Cup by Ficus Interfaith continues to explore the artists’ interest in terrazzo and its diverse range of applications. The two-handled vessel is composed of cement and found oyster shells that are filled with terrazzo in an array of colors. The overall shape and scale of the covered cup alludes to a playful stone-age inclination, referencing a historical architectural tradition within a smaller-scale contemporary decorative object.
