One for the Recession
Ingo Maurer
German industrial designer Ingo Maurer designed One for the Recession in the 1990s. The playful, heart-shaped sconce is composed of a painted metal shade that rotates to give it unique versatility. Light emanates from the interior of the lamp heart, dramatically accentuated with cut metal pieces formed in the shape of beams of sunlight or pulsing capillaries.
