Hannah Kuhlmann creates conceptual objects at the intersection of domestic objects, sculpture, and light. Metal forms the core of her work, which she approaches like adornments for a room. The artist conceives her objects as companions with an inherent sense of autonomy and presence — sometimes dressed or adorned, evoking a quiet intimacy. Each piece is individually crafted by hand in her Cologne studio, shaped through a process akin to tailoring.
