Pair of Chinoiserie Dressing Screens

This pair of refined Art Deco Chinoserie Dressing Screens was made around 1930. Composed of lightweight wood, their fronts are adorned with original antique wallcovering which shimmers in vibrant silver. Lush white blooms and verdant leaves climb the surface of the screens, fecund and dazzling. The backs are covered in a quirky mix of original wallpaper patterns, which are perhaps less glamorous than their fronts – but full of personality.
