Sheffield Footed Tray

This very large silver-plate footed tray was made in Sheffield, England in the mid-20th century. Composed of silver plate, the surface is meticulously decorated with joyful, undulating festoons as well as flora and fauna motifs. The tray rests on four animal-like paws, further reflecting its neoclassical influences.
