A continuation of her ever-evolving body of work utilizing stainless steel, Claudia Girbau Pina created a series of floor lamps that diffuse light through contrasting natural materials. Made in collaboration with textile artist Francesca Piñol, LAX 130 articulates an engaging dialogue between disparate materials like stainless steel and woven raffia. Though sleek and statuesque, light emits through the organic material to delicately soften its otherwise austere presence.
