Bruno Grizzo’s continued exploration of new modalities forays into asymmetry with Floor Lamp. A celebratory trove of color and amorphous shapes comprise the body of this sculpture. The light is filtered through hand-forged enamel flowers while washi paper, telephone wires, an enameled steel feather and kinetic elements all come together in an exquisite visual amalgamation. The components appear as though they might fly into the atmosphere, but the reclaimed marble base grounds the work to the earth.
