Candy Striped Hanging Light

Founded in the 16th century, Vetreria Vistosi is a Murano glass manufacturer known for its exquisite handblown glass and more recently, its many collaborations with contemporary designers. This hanging light reflects the experimental and joyful spirit of Murano glass production during the 1960s, when traditional techniques were reinterpreted through an innovative approach to form and color. The fixture features two cylindrical glass shades – one in burgundy and white, the other in yellow and crimson – decorated with alternating vertical stripes. Suspended from a slender metal armature, the asymmetrical arrangement introduces a sculptural sense of balance and movement.
