SUGAR IS NOT A VEGETABLE

Atkinson employs techniques originating in the 14th century Ukrainian highlands to create soft, furry, textiles functional and healing in their properties. Sheep's wool is sheared, woven on wooden looms, removed and washed in the river, sun dried and hand brushed. Reliant on nature for each part, Atkinson creates the most functional and beautiful textiles to be used and moved around the home. SUGAR IS NOT A VEGETABLE features a black and white checkerboard pattern, interrupted by yellow steps cascading in two directions.
