Ebonized Cabinet

This 19th-century cabinet on a stand was most likely designed by the British architect Richard Norman Shaw. Composed of rich ebonized oak, the gilt leather-paneled doors feature wandering acanthus, floral and berry motifs as well as an elegant ivory knob.
