Glass Jug with Feet and Lid

By forming a close relationship with artisans Massimo and Federico Pagnin at a small family-owned studio in Paderno Dugnano, the artist Valentina Cameranesi-Sgroi pushes the boundaries of borosilicate glass (a technique usually reserved for scientific instruments), manipulating and deforming the material. This series, a delicate liquid-like group of vessels, offer various fantastical forms. This vessel is comprised of three anthropomorphic legs that carry a perfectly spherical lidded bowl, finished with a thorned loop handle.
