Neverrino Table Lamp
Gae Aulenti (b. 1927) was an important Italian architect, perhaps most well known for her redesign of Paris’ Gare d’Orsay into the Musée d’Orsay in 1986. In addition to architecture, Aulenti also designed interiors, furniture and lighting, often characterized by her sensitivity to light and materiality. She designed the Neverrino Table Lamp for the renowned Venetian lighting company Vistosi in the 1960s. Substantial in size and weight, the lamp features an elegant dome of murrine glass and rests on a black painted metal base.
