Inspired by Italian Renaissance architecture (à la the architect Aldo Rossi), as well as historical Korean hat boxes, Modello II illustrates the ways in which functional objects for storage can
be expressive and visually compelling in their own right. Composed of solid maple, Cameranesi Sgroi added a single dramatic tassel decoration, consisting of linen rope and copper enameled “charms.”
