This antique rug is monumental in scale, and composed of hand-knotted cotton and wool threads. Though over 150 years old, it continues to boast rich hues of crimson, scarlet, rose, amber and onyx. Meticulously and laboriously hand-crafted in the Laver Kirman tradition, the rug features a pattern of medallions and floral motifs, which were typical of the style of the region.
