"750" Paper Lamp

Paper lamps in various heights by design duo, Christian and Jade.
The flat surfaces are made rigid with the addition of wax, heated and melted over the paper. The spontaneity of the liquid wax as it travels down the otherwise everyday material creates a new playful landscape of delicate square columns dipped in research and experimentation.
Lamp “750”, the tallest of the series, consists of a narrow rectangular shade stacked atop an equally narrow base. Both are stitched together and slid onto a steel substructure.
