This Queen Anne Tavern Table originates from the early 18th century. Its oak surface has oxidized and patinated over time, exhibiting speckled wormholes that add character and charm.
Though modest, its turned legs and stretcher appear elegant in their functional simplicity. The table was most likely found in an English tavern, as its diminutive size and weight allow for it to be easily moved in order accommodate a variety of patrons enjoying a tankard of beer.
