This sweet hand-painted chair was designed and produced by Morris & Co. in the late 19th century. The chair is painted black with small gold painted embellishments like a natural flower motif and solid bands on the chair’s back. The rush seat is in near-perfect condition and employs the same techniques as Morris & Co.’s well known and widely beloved Sussex Chair.
