Nick Poe is an American architectural designer and artist based in New York.
As the founder of 31 ARCH, Poe leads projects spanning residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces, including Jacqueline Sullivan Gallery. He also founded Time Again, a subtly Italianate downtown bar, and Lee’s Private Dining Room, a clandestine dinner party venue, both on Canal St in Manhattan.
As a native New Yorker, Poe’s design practice is influenced by his childhood growing up in and around artist lofts, and is characterized by the values that loft culture represents: finding beauty in resourcefulness, and the unconventional. Stylistically, his work often embraces dualities: utilitarian yet naturalist, futurist yet preservationist.
