Bruno de Abreu-Grizzo, a multidisciplinary artist, is a Brazilian native who lives and works in New York City. He received a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design and began his career as a fashion designer working for Lanvin in Paris and Calvin Klein in NYC. He launched his eponymous clothing label in 2006, for which he won two Gen Art awards. In the years following, his interests migrated from fashion design to illustration and animation, and he founded his multi-media advertising studio while exploring ceramics, metalsmith work, and enamel in 2015, marking the start of his full-time art practice. Most recently, his series of ceramic sculptures were included in a group show at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Pittsburgh in June of 2023. The museum has acquired seven of his pieces for its permanent collection.
