Isa Toledo

Isa Toledo is an artist born in Brazil and based in Lisbon. With a background in Illustration and painting, Toledo’s work in recent years has focused on language, translation and materials connected to home. Both her undergraduate and masters thesis dealt with themes of copying, appropriation and the myth of originality. Angle of Repose is Toledo’s first time exhibiting in the United States.
